In 1984 David Tibet introduced Anthony Blokdijk to Geff Rushton, aka John Balance, founder of the legendary music group Coil. From that moment on Blokdijk became a regular visitor of the original Threshold House in London. Also, many letters were exchanged due to several initiated projects between the two artists, leading up to a collaboration in 1988 on the Dutch translation of William S. Burroughs' 'Electronic Revolution', with a preface by Balance and cover design by his partner Peter Christopherson. After this, the friendship blurred...
